We took a bus from Vienna to Budapest.
Budapest is a beautiful place, and a really uniquely fun and welcoming city. I think probably the best bar and restaurant scene I’ve come across so far.

We spent NYE with a couple kids from Vienna, who are members of a band that follow Jen’s music blog and twitter feed. It was pretty great to just have a few more folks to hang out with.
I think my favorite moment was probably in the first few hours of 2016. I was full of beer and being my introverted hungry self, wanted to get some food on my own. So I excused myself from the bar and wandered over to a space that resembles an enclosed alley with like 9 or 10 different street food vendors inside. One place was serving Thai street food… that was amazingly good. I got a giant bowl of chicken soup noodles and a bottle of Sprite. A pretty good start to 2016.
